She is a healer. A hermit. A holy fool. She is in her early forties. People avoid her and fear her but secretly rush to her house at night. Every time she swears that she will no longer help people but once again she can’t refuse. She knows that her gift will someday destroy her but continues to give people the only chance for salvation.
Dmitry Davydov
Dmitry was born in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Having educated as a primary school teacher, he returned to work in his native village where he organized a club for teenagers. Then he filmed amateur videos and small feature films. After a while, Dmitry wrote the script for his first feature film "Bonfire" which was shot in 2014. The film was released in 2016 and has been presented at over 20 international film festivals. In 2019, Dmitry released the films "River" and "There is no God but Me". He continues to work at school and make films.
