Philip Yuriev
Philipp Yuryev is a director and screenwriter born in Moscow in 1990. His first commercial project, The First Jump, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick and his first short film, The Song of the Mechanical Fish, made it to the Sundance Film Festival while also receiving awards in Montréal, Berlin, Tokyo, and Sao Paulo. His debut full feature film The Whaler Boy was screened in Giornate degli Autori on Venice Film Festival an awarded for the Best directing.
