Moldova, 1997. 22-year-old Oleg Kretsul, judo champion, is a contender at Atlanta Olympics. Days later, after his wedding, an accident kills his wife, Oleg survives but he will never see again. Undaunted, in 2004, with the help of his friend Vitaly, Oleg returns to world-class sport as a Paralympian.

Aleksandra Likhacheva finished her first studies as an artist and in 2011 graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) as a film director. She is a member of the nonfiction and television film guild.
