Anton Sazonov
Born in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) in 1989, Anton Sazonov obtained a degree in economics before he graduated from the Pro Arte School of Art Journalism. He also finished a directing course at the Moscow Film School, in the class of Alexey Popogrebsky. The short film The Impasse (2017) is his graduation work from film school. He won the Pardi Di Domani Best Direction Prize (PIANIFICA) for his second short Leave of absence (2019) at the 72nd Locarno Film Festival.
